there are rumor also that mahindra is planning to launched its Thar 5-door on the 15 august independence day. were as its not conformed by mahindra right now. and mahindra automotive twitter acccount also twitted that in a recent event of mahindra in southafrica they are not showing or debut there thar 5-door so its may be assuming that thar 5-door launch may be shifted and scheduled in 2024 in the market.

Seating: Typically The old Thar comes with four seats, including two front seats and a rear bench seat. but in 5-door it may expected that it comes with 3 row or 7 seat. The seats are generally made of durable fabric or leather, depending on the model variant.

Storage: The older Thar practically not spacious too much if you are 4 passengers and u have luggage so forgot that 4 people luggage comes on it, but in new 5-door thar its much practical and not a problem for 4 people travelling with luggage.
EXTERIOR
From the exterior mahindra thar has not much changes, by the look and design are same. just like a boxy design. but for the 5-door variant just the B pillor is added. and now its more pratical for rear passengers. at the rear and the front there is no major changes are expected. lighting may be changes and the fog lights may be changes from the previous model. alloy wheels design may be expected to be changed from the previous. and the bumber too.

PRICE
the price of 5-door thar is definitely to be higher than the 3-door thar, the present time 3-door thar price is rupees 10.50 lakhs to 17 lakhs ( pricing might be differ by locations ). the exact pricing will be confirmed after the launch. and the revival cars or SUV will be definetly jimny, force gurkha, and jeep rubicon not only by the pricing but by the look and features too.

mahindra thar comes with two fuel options Petrol and diesel and in petrol mahindra thar has 1997cc petrol engine whereas in diesel there are also two varient ( 2184 and 1497 cc ) engines. the vehicle is available in both automatic and manual Transmission options. thar is 4 seater vehicle and ground clearance is 226mm, lenght is 3985mm, width is 1855mm and the wheelbase is 2450mm.
the present mahindra thar give 9 to 14 kilometer range in automatic diesel varient ( 9 in cities and 14 in highways), thar comes with 4 cylinder which produce maximum power 130bhp at 3750rpm. thar comes with 57 Liter of fuel tank capacity. 6 speed gearbox.
