pulsar RS200 upgrade |
Let’s dive into the details of the bike. The 2025 Pulsar RS 200 has been launched with a full fairing, but there are no major design changes from the front to the tail section compared to its predecessor. The only noticeable update is the tail light, which has undergone a redesign along with a slight change in its position. However, the new tail light design looks a bit unconventional and seems to draw inspiration from the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, which might not sit well with die-hard Pulsar fans.
The design of the 2025 Pulsar RS 200 hasn’t seen any major changes, but it still packs a good range of features. However, when it comes to the engine, it’s the same 200cc setup as before. Fans were hoping for something more exciting, like a 400cc version. This expectation traces back to the 2012 Auto Expo, where Bajaj showcased the SS400—a stunning concept bike that, unfortunately, never made it to production. This missed opportunity has left enthusiasts feeling disappointed once again.
When it comes to changes in the 2025 Pulsar RS 200, there are a few updates worth mentioning. The bike now features fresh, bold graphics that add to its visual appeal. A digital console has been introduced, complete with Bluetooth connectivity, offering features like call and SMS alerts, as well as turn-by-turn navigation.
Additionally, the bike now comes equipped with an assist and slipper clutch for smoother performance. One of the most notable upgrades is the new LED projector headlights, replacing the previous halogen setup. At the rear, you’ll find an integrated LED tail light with indicators. While the design of the tail section may look a bit unconventional, it does create an impressive effect when illuminated.
The 2025 Pulsar RS 200 also comes packed with several rider-friendly features. It now offers three riding modes: Road, Rain, and Off-road, giving you better control and adaptability in different conditions. The bike is equipped with ABS for enhanced safety, a USB charging port for convenience, and wider tyres for improved grip—140/70 R17 at the rear and 110/70 R17 at the front.
All these upgrades come at an ex-showroom Price of ₹1,85,000, making it a feature-rich option for riders looking for performance and practicality.
