TVS RTX300 adventure motorcycle launch details in India

After multiple sightings in camouflage, TVS has officially unveiled its upcoming adventure motorcycle at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Auto Expo. The bike will debut with TVS's latest 300cc engine, marking a significant milestone for the brand. Designed as a road-focused adventure motorcycle, it will also be the first model to feature the company's new 300cc engine.

Viewers, as you may already know, TVS recently unveiled its new RT-X4D platform-based 300cc engine. This engine promises to deliver both impressive performance and exceptional refinement. It is expected to power all of TVS's upcoming motorcycles in the 300cc segment.

Design
The bike showcase a muscular front profile, giving it a premium and high-end appearance. The Apache RTX 300 is equipped with a large windscreen, which, although non-adjustable, effectively reduces air drag during highway cruising.

At the front, the bike features an aggressive-looking LED DRL combined with a striking headlight, complemented by a small beak-style mudguard. The semi-fairing design seamlessly connects the head to the tank, enhancing its aerodynamic appeal. Additional elements such as LED indicators and sturdy handlebar guards complete the bike's premium and adventure-ready look.

Engine
The bike is powered by a 300cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers an impressive output of 35 HP and 28.5 Nm of torque. It is paired with a smooth 6-speed gearbox, ensuring optimal performance and a thrilling riding experience.

Suspension
The bike features inverted or USD (Upside Down) front forks with an impressive travel distance of 180mm, which might offer adjustability. The golden finish on the forks adds to the bike's striking and premium appeal. At the rear, it is equipped with a mono-shock suspension, also offering 180mm of travel, ensuring a balanced and comfortable ride on various terrains.

Alloy and Tires
The Apache RTX adventure motorcycle is equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. The tire sizes are 110/80-R19 at the front and 140/70-R17 at the rear, featuring dual-purpose tires for versatile on-road and off-road performance.

Braking
For braking, the bike comes with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, ensuring strong stopping power. Additionally, it is equipped with Switchable dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety and control across varying terrains.

Other Features
This motorcycle is equipped with a modern LCD display that supports smartphone connectivity, offering features like call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. Additional tech highlights include cruise control, traction control, and multiple riding modes (Rain, Road, and Off-road) to suit different terrains. It also features a ride-by-wire system for enhanced throttle response.

In terms of comfort, the bike comes with a split-seat setup and sturdy grab rails for added convenience. At the rear, an LED taillight and LED indicators, and at the bottom a single-mounted tire hugger for a clean and stylish look.

Performance
This bike offers impressive acceleration, reaching 0-60 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and 0-100 km/h in only 6.3 seconds, making it a top contender in its segment.

Price
TVS is entering the competitive 300cc ADV segment with his RTX300 motorcycle, where it will rival models like the KTM Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan, Suzuki V-Strom SX, BMW G310GS, and Honda CB200X. To stay competitive, the expected price range is between ₹2.70 lakh and ₹3 lakh (ex-showroom).

Launch Details
TVS has already showcased the production-ready model at the Auto Expo, and now, only the official launch date remains to be finalized. If all goes as planned, the bike could hit the market within the next 2-3 months.
